Become an Active Member of Your Local Gold Flames Chapter
Reconnect with fellow retirees and have fun at the same time. Become active in your local Gold Flames chapter. There are chapters in Atlanta, Augusta, Chattanooga, Elizabethtown (Union, New Jersey, area), Macon, Rome, Savannah, Valdosta, and Virginia (Norfolk). Check the different club pages for meeting dates and activities. Programs are varied – enjoy a tailgate party and Braves Game, or get an update on what's happening at AGL Resources. Learn how to survive the summer or get the most out of visits to your doctor. Learn nutrition tips or sing along with an old-time quartet singer. Check the local chapter pages for the current meeting program, location, and RSVP information. There's also a golf group in Metro Atlanta that meets once a month at area golf courses. New golfers are invited to join the group. All retirees of AGL Resources and its subsidiaries are eligible for membership in the Gold Flames Club. Retirees' spouses also are considered members, as well as the spouses of deceased retirees. You automatically become a Gold Flames member upon your retirement. All you have to do is contact your local group and attend meetings.
